Malaga Waste Transfer Station Reaches Practical Completion

Bistel Construction has recently reached practical completion on the Malaga Waste Transfer Station project located in Malaga, Western Australia.

The project successfully reached practical completion on 11 March 2021, ahead of schedule and within the City of Swan’s allocated budget. 

The new Waste Transfer Station comprises of the design and construction of several sheds to accommodate the various types of waste collected and disposed of, from within the jurisdiction of the City of Swan. The buildings include oil recovery, green waste, building and construction waste, aluminium, e waste, mattress sheds supported by a facility workshop and staff office/gate house building. The facility also includes safe access platforms for the disposal of steel, timber, cardboard and cans into waste 40m3 bins.

The project was designed by Bistel Construction and Bistel Construction’s selected Architect and Engineers, in collaboration with the City of Swan – Waste Management Division.

Bistel Construction are honoured to have delivered a wonderful new Waste Transfer Station for the City of Swan.
