Bistel Construction was engaged to restore Saint Paul’s Church in Menora, WA. Internally, the scope of work included the supply and replacement of existing lights and painting of all surfaces.
Externally, the scope consisted of restoring the roof, comprising of new Bristle Roof tiles, flashings, complete rafters, timber underpurlins and batters.
The award for the contract was issued on the 2 February 2015, with construction commencing 4 February 2015. Contractual completion was due 1 April 2015, however, Bistel Construction achieved Practical Completion four weeks ahead of schedule on the 19 February 2015.
Saint Paul’s Church and Fr Tim Deeter, were extremely pleased with the end result, the interactive and consolatory approach to the project by Bistel Construction staff, and having the Church open for tthe Easter Services.
